Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Your Questions
How much do your tattoos cost?
Our shop minimum is $200 and can go up from there depending on size and level of detail. Each artist charges different amounts and books differently (hourly, half day sessions, or full day sessions). You can contact the artist you'd like to work with and ask them what their rates are.
Do you charge by the hour or per tattoo.
Most of our artists primarily do large pieces and those are charged by day or half day rates. All artists will do smaller hourly work. Prices vary from artist to artist.
Do you take walk ins?
Our shop is custom only. All of our artists usually book in advance. We sometimes have short notice openings (within the week), it's always best though to schedule a consultation. Consultations are free however some artists take deposits to book tattoo appointments.
Why do I need a consultation?
We like to have consultations before booking an appointment because we like to make sure both the artist and client are on the same page. Some ideas are easier to express when face to face, and it helps minimize back and forth emails which is difficult to maintain in our artists day to day work schedule. Also it's good to meet our clients and make sure our artists are a good fit for the project.
What is the aftercare routine?
Can I go swimming and spend the day in the sun after my appointment?
Please, No. Please, Don't do it. Not in the lake, not in the pool, and not in the ocean. We recommend no swimming for 2-4 weeks. As for the sun, keep you new tattoo out of the sun for 2-4 weeks. Once it heals cover that thing up with some SPF. SPF is good for keeping your skin and therefore your tattoo safe.
Can I get on your cancellation list so I don't have to wait as long to get in?
Most artists post their short notice availability on their Instagram. So keep an eye out for those spots there. Links to all our artists Instagrams on our artist profiles found Here.
Do I need to tip my artist?
Tipping isn't necessary, but its always appreciated.
Do I need to pay with cash?
We take Cash and all major Credit Cards. Some artists take deposits through Venmo or Cash App.
Can I get tattooed at a convention?
Artists generally try to do large and more impressive work to showcase their skills. Ideal convention clients are prepared to be very committed (long days and travel expenses, and willing to compete in tattoo competitions) and allow the more creative freedom. If you are interested in convention spots reach out to the artist you want to work with and specify you'd like to do a convention project. Artist profiles here.
How old do I have to be to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed. No exceptions. It's state law.
Do you do piercings?
We do not do piercings.
